Hi, I’m the hands (and heart) behind Tangled Crochet. This little brand was born during the quiet COVID days when we were all stuck at home looking for something new to do. Crochet instantly caught my eye. My first project was a pair of gloves—let’s just say they were more “abstract art” than wearable fashion. At that time, I didn’t even know the difference between crochet yarn types, so quality wasn’t my strong suit.

When summer arrived, I nearly gave up because gloves were the only thing I knew how to make. But curiosity (and boredom!) pushed me back, and soon I stumbled into making crochet flowers. That’s when the fun began and I realised crochet could be endless.

I opened an Instagram page called Mushy Maiden, but it never felt like “me.” Then I looked around at my craft space. Every single skein of yarn I owned had somehow tied itself into a knot with another one. Nothing was ever neat. That’s when it hit me: Tangled Crochet. Perfect name. Perfect description of my creative life.

Now Tangled Crochet is my happy corner where I take messy balls of yarn, a bit of humour, and a lot of patience, and turn them into something soft, colourful, and full of personality. Each stitch tells a little story — sometimes of chaos, sometimes of calm — but always made with love.
